§ 662.03 PROCEDURE WHEN FAILURE TO COMPLY OCCURS.
   (a)   If the owner or occupant or any other person, firm or corporation having the maintenance responsibility for the properties mentioned in § 662.01 fails to comply with the notice provided for in § 662.02, the city shall cause or contract the weeds and grasses to be cut and removed. This cutting and removing shall be at the owner's expense, and all costs of labor, equipment wear and tear and the like, together with an administrative fee of 20% shall be assessed. The administrative fee shall not exceed $200 per occurrence.
   (b)   An invoice of such charges and assessments shall be sent by certified mail to the owner of the lot or land charged therewith or his or her agent. If the invoice of assessment is not paid in full within 30 days, it shall be certified by the Clerk of Council to the County Auditor to be placed on the tax duplicate and collected as other taxes are collected.
