Department heads, chiefs, superintendents and/or managers shall not receive payment for any overtime worked. Each department head shall keep a record of his or her service on a biweekly basis. The department superintendent, chief or manager shall be permitted to take hours off as compensatory time equal to the number of hours of overtime worked. However, the same shall be subject to the approval of the Mayor, who shall approve all requests that he or she deems to be reasonable.
