The Village shall, from time to time, by ordinance, establish a rate of compensation to be paid for any extra services provided by Police Department patrol officers or patrol vehicles, Fire Department Employees or Fire Department Equipment, or by Service Department employees or equipment. All such extra services shall be performed only at the direction of the Mayor or with the approval of the Mayor.
