145.07 K-9 UNIT.

(a) There is hereby established a K-9 unit as part of the Village Police Department to operate under regulations established by the Mayor and Chief of Police.

(b) The Mayor and/or Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to expend funds for the purchase of food for the two police dogs and for any necessary equipment for the K-9 patrol.
