Any sign erected to advertise, give notice or otherwise make known the fact that a rummage sale or garage sale is being carried on shall not exceed twenty-eight (28) inches by thirty-six (36) inches in size and shall be erected on stakes and on private property and shall under no circumstances be placed or attached to utility poles. All such signs bear the number of the permit referred to hereinabove. All such signs shall be removed or caused to be removed by the individual who obtains the permit within twenty-four (24) hours after the conclusion of the rummage sale or garage sale.
