In the event a well is abandoned, it shall be the duty of the owner or lessee to notify the Building Inspector, and the location of the well shall be indicated on the map provided at the time of the original application. Plugging and/or abandonment shall be performed pursuant to the laws of the State providing for such plugging and/or abandonment and pursuant to the ordinances of the Village and shall be done under the supervision of a representative of the Division of Mines, State of Ohio.
