521.17 AIRPLANE LANDING STRIPS.
   (a)    As used in this section, "airplane landing strip" means any area that is used for the landing and take-off of aircraft, that does not have paved or hard-surfaced runways used for the purposes described in Ohio R.C. 4563.01(A) and that is not for public use or utilized by the public.
   (b)    No airplane landing strip shall be established, maintained, used or operated within the Village within 500 feet of any highway, school, high tension line, Metropolitan or Village Park, railroad or residential area within the Village.
   
   (c)    Permits for the establishment of an airstrip shall be issued by the Mayor after approval by both the Planning Commission and Council, renewable annually on the anniversary date of the original permit. (Ord. 613. Passed 5-15-72.)
   (d)    Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
