§ 91.12  IMPOUNDMENT; RECLAIMING IMPOUNDED DOG.
   (A)   This section shall be applicable to those areas within the town not otherwise regulated under the provisions of §§ 91.25 through 91.53 or 91.65.
   (B)   (1)   Any dog found running at large in violation of § 91.10 shall be impounded by the Police Department for a period of three days.
      (2)   It shall be unlawful for any person to obstruct or interfere with the impounding of any dog under the provisions of this section or for any person to release or attempt to release any dog which has been impounded pursuant thereto.
   (C)   (1)   A charge as set forth in the Town Schedule of Rates and Fees, a copy of which is located in the office of the Town Clerk and is incorporated herein by reference, shall be made for the impoundment of any dog pursuant to the provisions of this section and an additional charge as set forth in the Town Schedule of Rates and fees shall be charged per day for the feeding and care of the dog.
      (2)   The owner or keeper of any dog impounded under the provisions of this section shall have the right to redeem the dog within a period of three days from the impoundment thereof, upon the payment of all fees charged against the dog.
      (3)   If the dog is not redeemed at the end of the three-day period, the dog may be either sold or humanely put to death.
