143.02 SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS.

Any City employee whose duties require the exercise of police power within the scope of his employment may be commissioned a special police officer by the Chief of Police with the approval of the Safety-Service Director. In the performance of his duties such employee shall have the powers of a patrolman in arresting persons for offenses against the laws and ordinances. (Ord. 66-18. Passed 3-29-66.)
