741.03 EXCEPTIONS.

   This chapter shall not apply to persons selling by sample only, nor to any agricultural articles or products offered or exposed for sale by the producer, nor to persons selling articles of their own manufacture, nor to sales pursuant to the order of any court of competent jurisdiction, nor to any person owning or operating a branch store or stores within the Municipality, provided such person or the principal of such person has been engaged in the same kind of business in the Municipality for a period of more than one hundred twenty business days prior to the date of the opening of the branch store or stores.

   However, persons selling agricultural articles or products produced by them, shall, prior to sale of such articles or products, submit to the Municipality an affidavit affirming that they produced such agricultural articles or products, the location where such products were produced and other information as may be required by the Safety-Service Director for the regulation of such sales.
