1301.01 ADOPTION BY REFERENCE; APPLICATION AND PURPOSE.

(a) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by the Municipality, the Ohio Building Code (OBC) as the current edition adopted by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, Department of Industrial Relations, and as published in the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), for application to all buildings and for purposes specified therein.

(b) The Building Code, as well as the Mechanical Code, as published by the International Code Council (ICC) and as amended by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, are hereby incorporated fully herein as if set out at length.
