917.01 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.
The eligibility requirements for tenancy in Golden View Acres are hereby stated for lessees:
(a) Primary Lessee.
(1) Resident of Sharonville for at least one year and minimum age 57.
(2) Parent, grandparent, or child of Sharonville resident, if such resident has lived in Sharonville for one year and if such parent or grandparent is a minimum age 57.
(3) Brother or sister of Sharonville resident, if such resident has lived in Sharonville for one year and if such brother or sister is a minimum age 57.
(4) Each applicant shall also submit the name of at least one individual to be contacted in the event of illness or death.
(b) Secondary Lessee.
(1) Shall be minimum age 57.
(2) Initial residency requirements do not apply to secondary lessees, when a party to the primary lessee’s original lease; otherwise, the initial residency requirements apply.
(c) Additional Resident.
(1) An additional resident is not a primary or secondary lessee and has not signed the lease.
(2) If the primary or secondary lessee dies, an additional resident that is said lessee’s surviving spouse shall be entitled to an assignment of the lease at the rental rate in effect at the time of assignment.
(3) If primary or secondary lessee dies, an additional resident that is not a surviving spouse has no rights in the lease and will be required to vacate the premises within sixty days, contingent upon receipt of rent.
(4) Lessee is required to notify City of an additional resident within ten days of inhabiting the premises.
(5) Additional resident must be minimum age of 57, unless spouse.
(d) Guests.
(1) Lessees shall be permitted to have guests staying for a period not to exceed 14 days within 60 consecutive days.

(e) No Smoking.
(1) No tenant or guest of a tenant or other individual in the premises shall be permitted to smoke inside the premises or within 25 feet of the structure of Golden View Acres, with the exception that smoking is allowed in clearly designated areas outside the physical premises of Golden View Acres. Violation of this rule shall authorize the management of Golden View Acres to cause the tenancy to be terminated and the tenants to be removed from the premises.
