521.16 SMOKING PROHIBITED IN CERTAIN PUBLIC FACILITIES.
   (a)   Council hereby determines that there shall be no smoking permitted in the interior of the Sharonville Community Center at any time or for any occasion. The Recreation Director is hereby authorized to grant special permission to waive this requirement in the event of contractual commitments or in the event of an unforeseen hardship which may be caused by the implementation of this rule.
   (b)   Smoking is hereby banned in the Lovitt Building located at Gower Park at all times and for all occasions. The Recreation Director is hereby authorized to grant special permission to waive this requirement in the event of contractual commitments or in the event of an unforeseen hardship which may be caused by the implementation of this rule.

   (c)   Smoking is hereby banned at the Sharonville Convention Center. The Convention Center Director is hereby authorized to grant special permission to waive this requirement in the event of contractual commitments or in the event of an unforeseen hardship which may be caused by the implementation of this rule.
   (d)   Reasonable notices shall be posted at the Sharonville Community Center, the Lovitt Building and the Sharonville Convention Center in order to notify the public of the implementation of this regulation. Any rental agreement forms for the usage of such facilities shall contain a conspicuous warning that these facilities are and shall remain smoke-free environments.
   (e)   No individual, after reasonable notice, shall smoke at any prohibited facility in violation of this section. A violation of this section shall constitute a minor misdemeanor and shall be punished by up to a one hundred dollar ($100.00) fine.
