CHAPTER 1224
Mercer County Regional Planning Commission
   EDITOR'S NOTE: Resolution 2-72, passed February 9, 1972, authorized the City to join and associate itself with the City of Farrell, the Boroughs of Sharpsville, Wheatland, West Middlesex and Clark, the Townships of Hickory, Jefferson and South Pymatuning, and the County of Mercer, in the creation of a regional planning commission to be known as the Mercer County Regional Planning Commission, a successor to the Shenango Valley Regional Planning Commission, pursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. Resolution 162-80, passed September 10, 1980, consented to the admission of Wilmington Township to the Commission. Resolution 230-88, passed November 22, 1988, consented to the admission of Perry Township to the Commission. Resolution 164-92, passed July 22, 1992, consented to the admission of Jackson Township to the Commission. Resolution 195-95, passed September 28, 1995, consented to the admission of Liberty Township to the Commission. Ordinance 2393, passed January 27, 1994, adopted the Amended Articles of Agreement of the Commission. Resolution 216-95, passed October 25, 1995, endorsed the Commission's Comprehensive Plan.
