The applicant, upon being granted a license, shall pay to the City Treasurer for the use of the City a license fee in the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) and in addition thereto shall furnish to the City Clerk for the use of the City an approved surety bond in the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000). The bond shall be in full force and effect for a period of thirty days from the date of such license and shall be conditioned on the faithful performance and observance by the licensee of the provisions of this chapter.
