§ 112.06  OTHER REGULATED ACTIVITIES.
   Pursuant to the authority granted under G.S. §§ 160A-178 and 160A-194, as amended, the following actions are prohibited within the municipal limits of the town.
   (A)   Yard sales or other revenue generating enterprises are prohibited on any commercial property or on any vacant lots, unless otherwise approved by the Board of Aldermen within the municipal limits of the town, unless otherwise exempted by this section.
   (B)   Yard sales at private residences are permitted, provided that the event is temporary in nature and that the frequency of yard sales does not exceed more than four weekends in a calendar year. WEEKENDS for the purposes of this chapter would include Friday, Saturday and Sunday or any combination of those days.
   (C)   The sale or display for sale of any motor vehicle, boat or other personal property on any commercial property or vacant lot is prohibited within the municipal limits of the town by any person or organization unless that person or organization is the owner of the property where the motor vehicle, boat or other personal property is being sold.  Displaying for sale such items on private property shall only be done on a temporary basis.
