§ 11.04  BOUNDARIES.
   The boundaries of the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the town are delineated on a map titled “Town of Shallotte and ETJ Area” in combination with the following written description:
   Beginning at a point on U.S. Hwy. 17 at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 17 and SR 1345; thence following U.S. Hwy. 17 in a southwesterly direction for approximately 1800 feet to the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 17 and SR 1136; thence following SR 1136 to its intersection with N.C. Hwy. 130; thence following N.C. Hwy. 130 for approximately 200 feet in a northwesterly direction to its intersection with SR 1134; and thence following SR 1134 for approximately 520 feet in a southwesterly direction to a point where Sharon Creek intersects with SR 1134; thence following the run of Sharon Creek in a southerly direction to the confluence of Sharon Creek and the Shallotte River; thence following the Shallotte River in a southerly direction to the confluence of the Shallotte River and Copas Creek; thence following Copas Creek in a westerly direction to its intersection with SR 1191; thence following SR 1191 to its intersection with SR 1145; thence in a northwesterly direction for approximately 250 feet to the southern boundary of a lot owned by Frank Causey and continuing with the Frank Causey southern boundary line to the rear of his property and then going northwest with the rear of the property line to a common corner with T.M. Phillips; thence following the rear property line of T.M. Phillips to a point where it meets the rear of a tract of land owned by Vera Edwards; thence continuing in a northwesterly direction to a point where the Vera Edwards property meets with Copas Branch; thence following Copas Branch for approximately 1900 feet; thence from said point in a northwesterly direction for approximately 840 feet to the southeast corner of a tract of land owned by Henry Lewis Bell; thence following the southern property line of the Bell property to a point where it meets N.C. Highway 179; thence crossing N.C. Highway 179 to the southeastern corner of a lot owned by Lee Vance Frink and continuing along the southern boundary of the Frink property to a point where it meets with a tract of land owned by Roscoe Butler; and thence continuing with the southern boundary of the Butler property to a point where the southwestern corner of the Butler property meets with a tract of land owned by Fred Mintz; and thence continuing in a northerly direction for approximately 4,940 feet to a point on Saw Pit Branch and continuing in the same direction across a tract of land owned by W.T. Russ to a point where the northeastern corner of the Russ property meets the southwestern corner of a tract of land owned by Dianne Stanley; thence continuing northward along the western boundary of the Stanley property to U.S. Highway 17; thence continuing along U.S. Highway 17 to its intersection with SR 1316; thence continuing along SR 1316 to its intersection with U.S. Highway 17 Bypass; thence continuing north with U.S. Highway 17 for approximately 400 feet to the southern corner of a tract of land owned by W.J. McLamb; thence continuing along the western boundary of the McLamb property to a point where the northern corner of the McLamb property meets a tract of land owned by John Mintz; and thence continuing in a northerly direction for approximately 2,880 feet to the southwestern corner of a tract of land owned by Lloyd Milliken, thence continuing in a northerly direction along the western boundary of the Milliken property to SR 1320; thence continuing with SR 1320 to its intersection with N.C. Highway 130, thence continuing northwestward with N.C. Highway 130 for approximately 280 feet to a point on the northern side of N.C. Highway 130 where the northwestern corner of the Lloyd Milliken property meets said road; thence continuing along the boundary of the Milliken property in an easterly direction to a point where the Milliken property adjoins a tract of land owned by Atlantic Telephone; thence continuing along the rear property line of Atlantic Telephone to an unnamed road between the Atlantic Telephone property and West Brunswick High School; thence continuing across the unnamed road to the northwestern corner of land on which is located West Brunswick High School; thence continuing along the rear of the High School property to the southwestern corner of a tract of land owned by John Eagles; thence continuing northward along the Eagles property line to its intersection with an unnamed creek; thence continuing in a northwesterly direction along the unnamed creek for approximately 820 feet to the southwestern corner of a tract of land owned by Ruby Gore; thence continuing along the western boundary of the Gore property to a point where it meets SR 1348; thence continuing along SR 1348 for approximately 4,000 feet to the northwestern property line of a lot owned by Carlee Hill; thence continuing along the Hill property line in a northeasterly direction to a tract of land owned by Brice Davis; thence continuing in a northeasterly direction along the Davis property boundary to a tract of land owned by Frederick Mintz; thence continuing along the Mintz property boundary to a point where it meets a tract of land owned by the Town of Shallotte; thence continuing along the boundary of the property owned by the Town to a point where it meets a tract of land owned by Federal Paper Company; thence continuing along the Federal Paper Company property line to a point where it meets the northern corner of a tract of land owned by N.R. Boseman; thence continuing along the rear of the Boseman property line to a point where it meets the rear of five lots owned by Andrew Gray; thence following along the rear of the Gray lots to the rear of a lot owned by Ronnie Scott; thence continuing along the rear of the Scott lot to a point where it meets the Western corner of a tract of land owned by Fred Leonard; thence continuing along the boundary of the Leonard land to a point where it meets SR 1345; thence continuing in a southerly direction along SR 1345 to the point of beginning.
