§ 93.036  OUTDOOR GRILLS/SMALL OPEN FIRES.
   It shall be unlawful and prohibited for any person or business to set, or cause to be set, or ignite any charcoal and/or gas grills, or any type of open fire, on any outside porch, patio or landing above ground level or within ten feet of combustible materials. A competent person shall constantly attend grills until the fire is extinguished as set forth in the North Carolina State Building Code: Fire Code.
