§ 93.017  COLLECTION OF FEES.
   (A)   Fire plane review fees.  Plan review fees shall be collected prior to issuance of any building or fire permits.
   (B)   Fire inspection fee (new construction). A fire inspection fee shall be issued at the fine of final fire prevention inspection for any outstanding fire prevention inspection/activities fees. Before a final certificate or occupancy, temporary occupant, contractor(s) or subcontractor(s) shall be paid to the town in full before same is released to Brunswick County Permit Department by the Fire Code Official.
   (C)   Fire inspection fees (existing buildings). The fee for an inspection of an existing building shall be assessed and an invoice will be supplied to the owner, occupant, or designee. Subjects will have 15 days to remit payment. After 15 days the bill will be placed in a past due status and a second invoice will be sent to the subject. After a period of 30 days of non-payment a third notice will be sent to the subject. After a period of 60 days of non-payment, the account will be subject to a 10% late fee and the account will be placed on hold and no additional fire permits or privilege licenses will be issued, civil action will be taken through a debt setoff agency after a period of 180 days.
