Non-compliant occupancies shall be handled in the following manner:
(A) Non-compliant sticker affixed to the occupancy entry door(s) after the third re-inspection visit where an occupant fails to correct identified fire violations.
(B) A summary of abatement letter issued to occupant and owner of the property in accordance with North Carolina Fire Code identifying all fire violations to be abated.
(C) If conditions are non present to prompt an evacuation in accordance with § 110.2 of the North Carolina Fire Code an abatement plan of action shall be established between the owner, occupant and Fire Code Official’s office that outlines objectives to be met to become in compliance with a time line established and approved by the Fire Code Official.
