§ 91.06  DOGS RUNNING AT LARGE PROHIBITED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any owner of a dog to permit the dog to run at large or to be off the premises of its owner and not on a leash, under the physical restraint of a competent person.
   (B)   For the purposes of this section, a dog shall be deemed to run at large while roaming or self-hunting off of the property of its owner; provided, a dog which is hunting for game for which its owner must hold a hunting license as required by the state shall not be deemed to be running at large nor to be off the premises of its owner and not under the physical restraint of a competent person, during the designated hunting season for the game so hunted.
