Any person of business found in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall become liable to the town for any expense, loss or damage occasioned by the town by reason of the violation. The person shall also be liable for repairing or restoring any sanitary sewer, storm sewer and natural outlet damaged, obstructed or impaired by the violation to its pre-existing condition. In addition, if sampling is required to diagnose a grease related problem, the cost of the sampling shall be paid by the applicant if found in violation of this subchapter. In addition, any person who violates any provisions of this subchapter shall be subject to a civil fine by the Town Administrator or his or her designee, as set forth in § 52.999.
