§ 52.054  SERVICE PIPE EXTENSIONS.
   No service pipe shall be allowed to run across lots,  that is, from one  lot  to  another, but  it  must  be taken from the main in front of the premises or from some point adjacent thereto, unless specific permission is obtained from the Director of Public Works.  The Director shall have the power to extend service pipe to a building not abutting a main.  All additional expenses for the extensions shall be paid by the owner of the property.
