Any user who discharges wastes in violation of this chapter shall, upon discovery thereof, immediately notify the Director of Public Works so that the town may take necessary countermeasures to minimize the damage to the community sewer, treatment facilities, treatment processes and receiving water. In addition, the user shall, within 15 days of the occurrence, deliver to the Director a written detailed report describing the cause of the discharge and the measures taken to prevent a reoccurrence in the future.
