(A) If any waters or wastes (discharged or proposed to be discharged to the public sewers) contain the substances or possess the characteristics enumerated in this subchapter, and which in the judgment of the approving authority, may have a deleterious effect upon the wastewater treatment works, processes, equipment or receiving waters, or which create a hazard to life, or constitute a public nuisance, the approving authority may reject the wastes.
(B) The town may discontinue water service, sewer service or both to any user who violates this subchapter when in the judgment of the approving authority, the action is necessary to protect the wastewater treatment works, processes, equipment or receiving waters from injury or damage, or is necessary to protect life or health.
(C) The town’s sewer system is planned and designed to be primarily a gravity sewer system; however, other non-septic systems such as pressure systems can be permitted if approved by the Board of Aldermen as set forth in § ____.
