(A) Unpolluted water, including by way of illustration but not limited to cooling water, process water or blow-down water from cooling towers or evaporative coolers, shall not be discharged through direct or indirect connection to a community sewer unless a permit is issued by the town. The town shall approve the discharge of such water only when there is no reasonable alternative method of disposal available. Discharge to the storm sewer system shall be approved as a reasonable alternative method of disposal, only with the concurrence of the local County Public Health Department.
(B) If a permit is granted for the discharge of such water into a community sewer, the user shall pay the charges and fees and shall meet any other conditions required by the town.
