(A) The water meters furnished by the town shall remain the property of the town and will be serviced by the town.
(B) At the request of any customer, the town will test the accuracy of a water meter alleged to be recording improperly. If the meter is found to be inaccurate, the customer’s water bill may be adjusted accordingly. If the meter is found to be accurate, the customer will be charged a fee of $15 and pay for any costs incurred for testing.
