(A) The town participates in as many as two meetings a year to discuss emergency preparedness procedures.
(B) In the early spring lines of communication with the North Carolina Department of Crime Control and Public Safety and with the County Emergency Management Office are tested when statewide tornado exercises are held.
(C) Before the start of the hurricane season, supplies and procedures of individual departments are checked.
