155.04 REPAIR BY CITY; ASSESSMENT OF COST.

   Should the owner, within the time stated in the notice, fail to construct, grade, repair or replace the sidewalk, driveway apron, or tree lawn area in accordance with the statement, the Director of Public Works shall cause the same to be done by the City and shall bill the cost thereof to the property owner. If the owner fails to pay the cost within thirty (30) days, the Director of Finance may assess the cost, together with the expense of assessing and collecting the same, upon the property and cause the assessment to be certified to the County Auditor for collection.
