141.09 BAD CHECK CHARGE.

   No person shall issue a bad check to the City in payment of an obligation to the City which is returned by the payor's bank marked, "insufficient funds", "payment stopped", "account closed" or similar language indicating that such check shall not be honored by the payor's bank nor payment made therefrom. In addition to any other penalty provided by law or other sections of the Codified Ordinances of the City or statutes of the State of Ohio, the person issuing such a bad check shall be subject to a charge of fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each bad check issued in favor of and submitted to the City, as determined by the Director of Finance.
