139.04 PERMANENT PRESERVATION OF CERTAIN RECORDS.

All records of births, stillbirths, deaths and service certificates registered by the local registrar of vital statistics shall be copied and permanently preserved, except as provided in Ohio R.C. 3705.15 and 3705.18 relating to legitimization and adoption.
