138.01 CREATION, MEMBERSHIP AND TERM.

There is hereby created a Human Relations Commission which shall consist of members as follows: two (2) members of City Council, one (1) member of the Shaker Heights Board of Education, the Mayor of the City of Shaker Heights, and six (6) citizen members, as appointed by the Mayor. Each member of the Commission shall serve a term of two (2) years, commencing on January 1 of every even-numbered year. One (1) of the Council members selected shall serve as Chairman of the Commission.
