131.02 DIRECTOR'S DUTIES.

   (a)   The Director of Planning and Development shall advise the Mayor, Council, the Planning Commission and other officers of the City in the administration of the laws of the City relative to planning and land use, and shall be responsible for the planning for and development of City-owned land and for the supervision and administration of planning and development activities of the City, and shall coordinate the planning requirements of the various departments, all as herein provided under the direction of the Mayor, and shall perform such other planning and development duties as may be prescribed by the Mayor or authorized by Council.

   (b)   The Director is hereby designated as Secretary to the City Planning Commission, the Board of Zoning Appeals and the Architectural Board of Review, and the Director, or his or her designee, shall perform all the duties and functions as Secretary to such bodies as is now or which may hereafter be prescribed pursuant to the Codified Ordinances of the City.

   (c)   As Secretary to the City Planning Commission, the Board of Zoning Appeals and the Architectural Board of Review, the Director, or his or her designee, shall collect fees in accordance with the following schedule:

Examination of Plans by Architectural Board of Review

	1.	New one and two-family dwellings		$200.00
	2.	Other new buildings		300.00
	3.	New multi-family dwellings:
			2-6 units	300.00
			7-20 units	400.00
			21+ units	500.00
	4.	Additions:
			1-150 sq. ft.	75.00
			151-500 sq. ft.	125.00
			501-1000 sq. ft.	150.00
			1001 sq. ft. and more	300.00
	5.	Alterations for one and two-family dwellings
			Awnings, roof	50.00
			Decks, porch conversion, porch alteration, sun roof, siding	100.00
			Window and door changes, all other residential alterations	75.00
	6.	All other buildings (non-residential and multi-family)		100.00
	7.	Auxiliary structures and garages
		(including sheds over 120 sq. ft.)
