123.07 SALE OF LEAF HUMUS AND MULCH.
(a) Council hereby authorizes and directs the Director of Public Works to sell leaf humus and landscape mulch as set forth herein.
(b) Council hereby establishes the following prices for leaf humus, which shall be prepaid prior to pick-up or delivery:
Screened leaf humus | $ 12.00 per cubic yard | |
Unscreened leaf humus | 8.00 per cubic yard | |
Bulk sales of 25 cubic yards or more | 20% discount |
(c) Landscape mulch shall be sold or provided at market prices, as determined by the Director of Public Works. Pursuant to the authority granted herein, the Director may also sell or provide landscape mulch in connection with yard and landscape waste transportation and disposal contracts with the City, which would result in a reduction of the City's transportation and disposal costs.
