123.02 ORGANIZATION, POWERS AND DUTIES.

   The Director of Public Works shall be the executive head of the Public Works Department, under the direction of the Mayor. The Director shall be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the streets, public grounds and parks, cemeteries, and sewers of the City, the removal of snow and ice from the streets and public grounds, and the collection and disposal of rubbish, garbage and all other waste materials. Each of the other members of the Public Works Department shall have such powers and perform such duties as may from time to time be required and shall exercise the same as directed by the Director of Public Works.
