121.07 FIRE DEPARTMENT; ORGANIZATION, POWERS AND UNIFORMS.

   (a)   The Chief shall be in charge of the Fire Department, under the Director of Safety. The Assistant Chief shall have the powers and perform the duties of the Chief during the absence or disability of the Chief and shall perform such other and further duties as may from time to time be required by the Chief.

   (b)   All members of the Fire Department shall have all the powers provided by law of the State of Ohio for the protection of lives and property in case of fire and shall exercise the same in such manner as may be provided by the rules of the Department and the orders of the Director of Safety, Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, Captains and Lieutenants.

   (c)   Each member shall, subject to regulations now or hereinafter in effect as to inspections and allowances, provide himself with suitable uniforms.
