The head of the Finance Department shall be the fiscal officer of the City with the title of Director of Finance.
The Director shall examine all payrolls, bills and other claims against the City and shall issue no warrant unless such Director shall find that the claim is in proper form, correctly computed and duly approved, that it is due and payable and that an appropriation has been made therefor.
The Director shall perform all other duties required by this Charter or by ordinance of the Council. (Approved by voters 11-2-99.)
