(a) The provisions of this chapter shall supplement all other provisions of City ordinances relating to the maintenance of commercial property.
(b) Incorporated herein by reference are the standards referenced in the Ohio Basic Building Code, including but not limited to, those standards applicable to electrical, plumbing and building materials, equipment, installation and repair.
(c) Where terms are not defined in this chapter and are defined elsewhere in the City Building Code, such terms shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Building Code.
(d) In the event that the provisions of this chapter impose a higher or more restrictive standard than appears in any other ordinances of the City, or under the laws of the State of Ohio, then the standards set forth herein shall prevail. If any provision of this chapter imposes a lower or less restrictive standard than any other City ordinance or State law, then the higher or more restrictive standard contained in such other ordinance or law shall prevail.
