The provisions of this Building Code, as may be amended or supplemented from time to time, shall apply to the location, design, materials, construction, alteration, repair, equipment, use, occupancy, maintenance, removal and demolition of all types of buildings and structures and appurtenant structures, to the extent now or hereafter provided for herein.
The provisions of this Building Code shall not apply to work performed primarily in a public way, nor to public utility towers and poles, mechanical equipment or structures not specifically regulated in this Code.
