509.03 LIGHTED SIGNS.

   No person, being the owner or in charge of any sign or advertising device lighted or illuminated by electricity, or any electric light illuminating any building or structure from the outside, which sign or advertising device or flood light is located within 500 feet of any one-family, two-family, multi-family or apartment district, as defined by the Zoning Code of this City, and the direct rays of light from which sign, advertising device or flood light are visible from the district, shall operate, or cause or permit the operation of such sign, advertising device or flood light before the hour of sunrise or after the hour of sunset in any day.
