AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING 2014 SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF SEYMOUR, INDIANA

WHEREAS,   American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has prepared the 2014 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Seymour, Indiana, which supplements incorporate all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted since the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances; and

WHEREAS,   American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make reference to sections of the Indiana Code; and

WHEREAS,   It is the intent of the Common Council to approve and accept these updated sections.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY

OF SEYMOUR, INDIANA

Section 1:   That the 2014 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Seymour, Indiana containing local municipal legislation current through December 22, 2014, and Indiana legislation current through supplement 2014 Legislative Service #5 as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, be and the same are hereby adopted by reference as if set out in their entirety.

Section 2:   Such supplements shall be deemed published as of the day of their approval by the Common Council and the Clerk-Treasurer of the City is hereby authorized and ordered to insert such supplement into the copy of the Code of Ordinances kept on file in the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer.

Section 3:   All prior ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with any provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 4:   This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor all as by law provided.

   ADOPTED by the Common Council and APPROVED by me, as Mayor, this 9th day of February, 2015, at 7:07 p.m.
