AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING SUPPLEMENTS

TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF SEYMOUR, INDIANA

WHEREAS,   American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has prepared supplements to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Seymour, Indiana, which supplements incorporate all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted since approval of a prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City by way of Ordinance 3, Council Bill 8 (2012); and

WHEREAS,   American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make reference to sections of the Indiana Code; and

WHEREAS,   It is the intent of the Common Council to approve and accept these updated sections.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY

OF SEYMOUR, INDIANA

Section 1:   That the supplements (2013 S-9) to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Seymour, Indiana containing local municipal legislation adopted from December 13, 2011 through December 10, 2012, and Indiana legislation current through supplement 2012 Legislative Service #5 as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, be and the same are hereby adopted by reference as if set out in their entirety.

Section 2:   Such supplements shall be deemed published as of the day of their approval by the Common Council and the Clerk of the City is hereby authorized and ordered to insert such supplements into the copy of the Code of Ordinances kept on file in the Office of the Clerk.

Section 3:   All prior ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with any provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 4:   This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor all as by law provided.

   ADOPTED by the Common Council and APPROVED by me, as Mayor, this 11th day of March, 2013, at 7:05 p.m.
