The Street Commissioner, with the approval of the Mayor, for any of the purposes described in § 71.124 above, may designate the streets, or portions thereof, to be closed, and may restrict or suspend the parking of motor vehicles over, upon, and along designated public streets, or portions thereof, by the same methods designated by §§ 71.121(C) and 71.121(D) for declaration of a snow emergency by the Mayor.
