(A) The Board of Public Works and Safety is within the executive branch. The Board shall be the chief administrative body of the city and shall have control of the day-to-day operations of the following executive departments:
(1) The Police Department;
(2) The Fire Department;
(3) The Department of Public Works:
(a) Street division;
(b) Sanitation division.
(4) The Water Pollution Control Department:
(a) Sanitary sewer utility division;
(b) Storm water utility division.
(5) The Purchasing Agency.
(B) The time and date of the twice monthly meetings of the Board of Public Works and Safety are the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 11:00 a.m.
