EDITOR'S NOTE: Ordinance 3-1962, passed January 8, 1962, created a Police Relief and Pension Fund under the provisions of Ohio Revised Code Sections 741.32 and 741.53. House Bill 642, enacted by the 1965 session of 106th Ohio General Assembly, established Ohio R.C. Chapter 742 and created a Statewide disability and pension fund for policemen and firemen, and abolishes all municipal police relief and pension funds as of January 1, 1967. (Ord. 18-1990.
