125.10 CHECKING ACCOUNT.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to open and maintain a checking account in the name of the Mayor of the City for the purpose of collecting traffic and other fines, waivers and forfeitures.
At least once a month the Mayor shall transmit all funds collected and deposited in the aforesaid checking account to the Finance Director; provided, however, that the Mayor is authorized and empowered to reserve and retain from such checking account currency and coin in the amount of not more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for the purpose of providing change for those persons who pay fines and waivers at City Hall.
