The Clerk of Council shall cause to be published in the manner required by law, a notice of the enactment of this ordinance containing the title hereof and a summary of the new matter contained in the codification; and, immediately after the expiration of the period of such publication, the Clerk of Council shall enter on the record of ordinances a certificate stating in what manner and on what dates such publication was made.
