Only recognized, organized Seven Hills groups may apply for use of the Community Center Complex, Recreation Complex, Parks and Pavilions, and baseball and soccer fields on a regular or ongoing basis. To be a recognized group, you should have eighty percent (80%) membership from the City of Seven Hills, Ohio. If less than eighty percent (80%) membership from Seven Hills, the Recreation Director will investigate such a group and determine whether or not to grant recognition to the group with Council's approval. The list of these groups will be kept with the Recreation Complex Front Desk Manager and distributed to City Council and the Finance Director. Each recognized/organized Seven Hills group must submit upon request in December of each year a revised membership (listing names, addresses and city). The Recreation Director will determine, at his/her discretion, which groups are recognized/organized groups for the purposes of applying for the use of the above-stated facilities with Council's approval.
(a) Recognized/organized groups are to submit a list in writing to the Recreation Director of special events and meetings they would like to hold at the Community Center Complex, Recreation Complex, Parks and Pavilions, and baseball and soccer fields during the calendar year by December 15th.
(b) Recognized/organized groups will be given one free rental for a special event at no charge during the calendar year (January through December) of each year. Any and all other special events or meetings are subject to charge. Consideration will be given to activities whereby proceeds will go directly to benefit the City.
(c) Recognized/organized groups are to submit in writing to the Recreation Director dates of monthly scheduled meetings held at a City facility during the calendar year (January through December) by December 15.
(d) All recognized/organized groups using the City's facilities are required to file annual financial reports to the Director of Finance prior to January 31 of each year or submit interm reports within ten days' notice if requested by Council as required by Chapter 154
of the City's Codified Ordinances.
