   For the purposes of this chapter, buildings designed specifically for the elderly means buildings that have widened interior doors, amenities to plumbing, lighting and ramped access to such buildings as contained in the Americans with Disabilities Act, or other specific design or living-assistance features or services suited to particular needs of elderly residential populations.
