(a) Establishment. There is hereby established the position of Child Watch Attendant, which is a part time position that is responsible for supervising children in the Child Watch area of the Recreation Center by maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment for children left in Child Watch. Reports to the Front Desk Manager.
(b) Requirements for the Child Watch Attendant.
(1) Must be 16 years of age or older.
(2) Able to read, write and understand directions.
(3) Requires the exercise and use of independent judgment not merely of a routine or clerical nature.
(4) CPR, AED and First Aid Certifications are required.
(c) Duties of the Child Watch Attendant.
(1) Ensure safety of children.
(2) Communicate with parents.
(3) Ensure rules are enforced.
(4) Ensure Child Watch area is clean and neat.
(5 Sterilize toys/equipment as required by the schedule.
(6) Maintain discipline of children.
(7) Adhere to Blood borne Pathogen standards.
(8) Attend meetings and trainings as required.
(9) Supervise play and game activities of children.
(10) Any other duties as assigned.
(d) Hourly compensation range for the Child Watch Attendant
Minimum Wage - $12.00/ hour
